Google today indicated that it has taken the "first steps" towards making MMS services available from its Google Voice product. Google explained in a blog post today that Googie Voice users on the Sprint network can receive pictures and video content from Sprint subscribers on their Android smartphones. The photos/videos will display on users' mobile phones and in their email inbox if they wish. Google said it is also planning to make MMS messages display in the Google Voice inbox. Google noted that it is working to expand this feature to other network operators and other platforms.
