Oct 18, 2011, 11:45 AM: That's a wrap! Look for our hands-on impressions and photos in an hour or so.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:44 AM: It will be called just the "RAZR" globally, and will be available everywhere in November.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:44 AM: To put it in perspective, the Apple iPhone 4S is 9.4mm. The thinnest Samsung Galaxy S II is 8.9mm. So the Motorola Droid RAZR at 7.1mm is damn thin.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:42 AM: The Motoactv links with Droid RAZR, so you can control your phone from your Motoactv watch, etc.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:41 AM: Droid RAZR will be $299, available in November; pre-orders start on Oct. 27.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:38 AM: Droid RAZR is exclusive to Verizon.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:37 AM: It will work with both the new Motorola Lapdock 100 and the 14" Lapdock 500 laptop docks.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:36 AM: It's 4G LTE. Duh, although it is impressive that it's so thin AND 4G. It's thinner than most 3G smartphones. (4G phones are usually kinda thick.)

Oct 18, 2011, 11:35 AM: 7.1mm is pretty damn thin. I don't blame them for bringing out the RAZR brand for this.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:34 AM: Droid RAZR includes extensive enterprise features, including security features and remote PC desktop access.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:33 AM: MotoCast works for files like Office and PDF docs, too.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:30 AM: Ooops. Demo failed with "PC offline" error. MotoCast not... casting. Hey, at least we know it's a live demo and not staged. Okay... now it's working again.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:29 AM: But once you set up via cable, you can stream anything wirelessly. Music from iTunes on your PC, photos on your PC, etc...

Oct 18, 2011, 11:27 AM: Access all of your content, securely, from your Droid RAZR, from anywhere. Set up MotoCast by... linking Droid RAZR to PC via USB cable. (Not very cloud if you have to start with a wire, buddy.)

Oct 18, 2011, 11:26 AM: MotoCast bridges different devices together with a "personal cloud", addressing fact that only 15% of users use a real cloud service for everything.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:24 AM: New "Smart Actions" helps automate battery-saving actions, like turning off Bluetooth when you're in range of your home wi-fi-network.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:23 AM: It's a Webtop phone, like the Atrix, for hooking up to docks, like the new Lapdock 100.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:23 AM: Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. 1 GB RAM for running apps. 12.5 hrs talk time.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:22 AM: Stainless steel core. Kevlar back. Gorilla Glass front. Splashguard nanotech coatings, even inside. 127g.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:20 AM: Looks just like the leaks. 7.1mm thin. 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display!

Oct 18, 2011, 11:18 AM: Droid RAZR!

Oct 18, 2011, 11:18 AM: New phone: Thinner. Stronger. Battery for a whole day. Fastest processor. High res display. Innovative features.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:17 AM: Now onto something else... smartphones!

Oct 18, 2011, 11:17 AM: 8GB version for $249. 16GB for $299.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:17 AM: ...but is it a phone? They talk about making calls on it, but...

Oct 18, 2011, 11:15 AM: Bob Harper from "Biggest Loser" on stage.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:15 AM: Very interesting the way they described Motoactv as "based on the foundations of Android". In other words, this probably won't run Android apps, but it does leverage Android for linking into Motorola's other Android products.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:12 AM: ...fresh from running 3000 miles across the country. (Okay, so he knows what he's talking about.) Talking about the convenience of not having to wear an uncomfortable heart rate monitor strap.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:10 AM: Dean Karnazes takes the stage.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:09 AM: It automatically syncs with Motoactv.com, for tracking and sharing your progress (including social networks.) (Great, because Facebook isn't already clogged enough with run stats.)

Oct 18, 2011, 11:09 AM: It can give you audio feedback on your workout.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:08 AM: It stores 4000 songs, plus FM radio.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:08 AM: Motoactv is sweat- and rain-proof.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:08 AM: SF500 and SF700 are the two headset models designed to work with Motoactv.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:07 AM: Motoactv communicates with a Bluetooth headset that monitors your heartrate.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:06 AM: This little "Android-based" watch clocks in at 35g / 46 x 46mm and tracks all fitness stats.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:05 AM: Introducing: "Motoactv", a Bluetooth GPS sports watch with music player, powered by 600 MHz processor and Android.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:03 AM: Sanjay is starting to talk about fitness and staying in shape as a top priority. Hmm.

Oct 18, 2011, 11:01 AM: Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola, has taken the stage.

Oct 18, 2011, 10:56 AM: "The program will start in five minutes."

Oct 18, 2011, 10:44 AM: Settled in and ready for the event to start in 15 minutes.

Availability

So you guys were 1/2 conflicting with exclusivity on this device... you stated it was exclusive to Verizon, then 2 lines later stated it would be available everywhere in November...

so is it just the "droid" branded one that is exclusive to verizon? and everywhere else it will be the RAZR? And if so, is this US carriers too, or just internationally?
