Google has released a new version of Google+ for the Android platform that completely re-imagines the user interface and how the app looks. Other improvements include improved power efficiency, usability changes for faster use, improved notifications, a new user interface for publishing posts, support for Google App users, the ability to add people to a circle from circle profiles, and the ability to sign out of the service. The new version also fixes bugs. Google said that the version number varies by device, but the new app requires Android 2.1 and up to work properly. The update is available for free from the Android Market.
