Google Updates Market, Reader, and Docs for Android

Google has updated a number of its core applications for the Android platform in recent days. First, it updated the Android Market. New features in the Market include the ability to set app updates to occur over Wi-Fi only, and also to set the update controls to automatic by default. The new version of Reader doesn't offer any noticeable changes aside from the ability to swipe left/right through feed items and integration with Google+. It is also now compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Last, the update to Docs for Android refreshes the design to match that of Android 4.0; optimizes it for use on Honeycomb tablets; improves video playback; and makes it easier to discover data about individual documents/files. The Android Market update is being pushed out to most devices automatically. The Reader and Docs updates are available from the Android Market.
