Verizon Wireless today began offering the Samsung SCH-A790 to consumers. The A790 is Verizon's first world phone, and the first phone in the world to include both CDMA and GSM technologies in one phone. The A790 uses Qualcomm's MSM6300™ chipset. The phone was first offered to business customers in late May. The A790 is available at Verizon Wireless retail stores for $349.99 with a two-year contract.

What, no Bluetooth?
Verizon is too slow to adopt technology, they just finally came out w/ Bluetooth this summer (a friend has that phone and its BT is crippled...not ideal).
As I travel a lot to Europe I'd be real interested in this phone but w/out BT in this day and age it doesn't deserve a look. Sorry Verizon, when my contract's up in November, I'm looking around.
