Google Improves Movie Search for Android, iOS Browsers
Dec 9, 2011, 12:04 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google has altered the way movie searches are treated from the browsers of Android and iOS devices. Starting today, results will include a swipeable ribbon, with the most relevant information displayed at the top of the page. The results will deliver a movie poster, a short summary, ratings, and the nearest theaters and showtimes for each movie. The new movie search results also provide information about the cast, crew, as well as quick links to the full trailer and online tools for purchasing tickets. The new search results are available in the U.S., only in English for now.
