Google has released a new tool to Android developers that will allow them to add Android 4.0's voice typing feature to their own applications. Google says that any app built for Android 4.0 will be able to take advantage of the voice typing feature, while devices running Android 2.2 to 3.x will still use the standard voice recognition. Android's 4.0 voice typing feature works in real-time and lets users speak text that is then transcribed into text boxes. The voice typing APK is free for developers to download.
