Dec 14, 2011, 1:16 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today provided an update to the Gmail application for iOS. Some of the new features include the ability to set a custom signature for your mobile emails and a vacation responder. Google also changed the notification sound when new emails arrive, added support for nested labels, and added a simple sketching client so users can add drawings to their emails. Google said that it is working to add like banner notifications, multiple login support and the ability to send-as from any account already configured in Gmail in a future update to the application. Gmail for iOS is free and works on iOS devices using system 4.0 and up.
