Microsoft recently made available a new mobile client for its Lync service for both the Windows Phone and Android platforms. Lync is a business-focused communications tool that combines instant messaging, conferencing, and calling features in a single application for corporations. The Windows Phone and Android apps are available from the Marketplace and Android Market, respectively. Microsoft has also submitted versions of Lync to Apple for iOS devices and Nokia for Symbian devices, though these versions have yet to be approved.
