NBC and the NFL have announced plans to stream the Super Bowl live on the internet when it airs February 5. In addition to being available online, Verizon Wireless will also stream the Super Bowl to subscribers of its NFL application. The Super Bowl package will include additional camera angles, as well as highlights and stats. Verizon Wireless already streams a number of football games each week through its NFL app, but this is the first time the Super Bowl will be streamed to mobile devices.
