Google Buys 222 More IBM Patents

Google has purchased yet more patents from IBM. The company recently added 222 more patents from IBM's massive aresenal to the 2,000 patents it purchased last year. A Google spokesperson confirmed the acquisition to PCWorld, but declined to say why Google wanted this particular batch of patents. Patents have come to serve as the weapons used and the armor worn by smartphone companies in the battle for dominance in the market.
