Sprint Names Its First LTE Markets

Sprint has indicated via its official Twitter account that Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will be the first markets to have access to its forthcoming Long Term Evolution 4G network. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said LTE will reach those markets by the middle of 2012. These same markets will also receive upgraded 3G services, though Sprint didn't elaborate on how.

Every other company has mapped their LTE in high priority areas such as Chicago, New York, LA, Seattle, and the likes.
Sprint isn't breaking any new ground here.
