Microsoft Cans 'Where's My Phone Update?' Site

Microsoft said that it will no longer provide device update information directly to consumers as it has over the past year with its "Where's My Phone Update?" web site. Microsoft will continue to deliver updates to devices as needed, but they will be supplied directly to wireless network operators and handset makers for dispersal without public-facing announcements. Microsoft also noted that it is released a maintenance update, build 8107, to a wide number of Windows Phones. The update will be pushed to end users once prepared by network operators.
