Arima Demos New UIQ Smartphone

Taiwanese manufacturer Arima Group will be demonstrating its new U300 smartphone this week at the Symbian Expo in London. The U300 is a tri-band GSM device based on Symbian's UIQ 2.1 smartphone OS, the same as in Sony Ericsson's P900. The U300 features a sliding keypad design, a large transflective TFT touch-screen, and a rotating 1.3 megapixel camera with flash. Other features include 30 frames-per-second video capture, Bluetooth, and an FM radio.
