PalmOne Unveils Treo 650

PalmOne today officially announced the Treo 650, the successor to the popular Treo 600. New or upgraded features include:

Higher-resolution display (320 x 320 pixels.)
Bluetooth short-range wireless, supporting all major profiles.
Removable battery.
New VGA camera with video capture and improved low-light performance.
Built-in MP3 player.
Built-in compatibility with Microsoft Exchange.

Also, the CDMA version supports high-resolution (QVGA) video capture, while the GSM version includes quad-band world roaming and EDGE high-speed data. The Treo 650 will be available with some U.S. carriers by the end of the year, with wordwide availability in 2005.

Bluetooth with Verizon?

Will Verizon cripple the Treo like they crippled the V710? Will the phone support OBEX?

Doubtful. The Treo is a full PDA, there's no way they would cripple something that critical on a...

is verizon going to be getting this also???

just curious to know if this phone is going to come out for verizon wireless? cause the system operates on cdma and gsm or is only sprint going to be getting this palm device?
