Nokia Launches New Mobile Software Solution for Carriers

Nokia today launched Preminet®, a new end-to-end turnkey solution for wireless carriers to deliver a high-quality catalog of mobile software and content. Preminet includes a master catalog of certified Java and Symbian software and games from leading developers, as well as content such as ringtones and graphics. In addition to the catalog, Preminet includes a delivery and billing platform, as well as an optional, operator-brandable client application. The solution works with both CDMA and GSM networks, as well as WAP, SMS and Web delivery methods, and integrates with existing systems, including content delivery gateways, authentication systems and billing platforms.
