ZTE Toasts the Mimosa X, with Nvidia Tegra 2 and Icera Modem

ZTE and Nvidia today announced the Mimosa X, a new Android smartphone that includes both an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and an Nvidia Icera modem chipset with support for 21Mbps HSPA+. Nvidia purchased Icera in mid-2011 and the Mimosa is the first device to contain an Nvidia modem, CPU, and GPU. The Mimosa X boasts dual-core processors and will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, a 5-megapixel camera with HD video capture, 4GB storage, stereo Bluetooth, DLNA, Dolby sound, and gyroscope. ZTE said the Mimosa X will be available starting in the second quarter and it is aimed at the middle of the smartphone market. Pricing was not disclosed.
