BlackBerry 7520 & Bluetooth Puck Mercedes E350 2007

My phone is great - but all features don't work with my car.
I bought a new 2007 E350. I bought the Bluetooth Puck for 350.00 that plugs into the center console.
Mercedes say's phone won't work with NEXTEL and sends you to their 3rd party phone company, wireless solutions.
I tried and phone does work somewhat with the puck....but only making calls. Phonebook won't load or 3 way calling. Again only thing that does work is sending and receiveing calls and the speaker/micropphone in the car and the steering wheel controls for volume and ending calls.
I took phone to Sprint to see if there was a software upgrade - but no luck.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?????????????????????????????>

7520 and sprint relay customer service question

Ok here is the deal. My son is deaf and my wife and I have nextel in NC. I know that through AIM messenger (aol instant messenger), I can use the sprint relay for my son to have a phone, and I know this is covered in the data plan( or at least I hope it is). My question is I have recently bought two blackberry's, one 7520 which I have now and one 7100i in a couple of days. Currently i am using a I870 and put my sim in the 7520 to make sure everything is working. There is a software called Ramble IM that allows the blackberry to connect to AIM and it works fine also. Do I have to have a blackberry plan or can I keep the data plan I have now. The only reason I have the blackberry is for him to be able to type out conversations easier fo...

Heres the thing, if you stay on the data plan you currently have and go over your data allotment you can rack up big charges. It really depends on the all the stuff your son uses the phone for.

The big reason to have the blackberry plan is to have...

Need help... Blackberry 7520.. how do you upload jpegs

wondering if anyone out there can give me directions on how to upload pics to my new blackberry 7520... thanks BB fans
From what i've heard you need the Black Enterprise Server. It cost about $1500.00?? More or less..

Anyway, Nextel didn't think the sales of the 7520 was going to be so high and didn't consider individual (personal) purchasing of this phone. So, n...

why don't you email your jpegs or pics as an attachment and email it to your own blackberry. You can save it when you're viewing the email attachment.

this berry is sick

This is the best berry out period. Speaker phone(which in true nextel fashion is LOUD!),bluetooth, direct connect, and built in html browser. In fact I'm posting this from my 7520!. Mmmmmm smells so good fresh out the yellow nextel box: ). You can even set up the web client from the phone! U dont even need a PC. Only thing I can't figure out is sms/text messaging. It doesn't work ike my old 7280 berry from att. Hmmmmm. Anybody got a answer for this problem? Salaam
Haha I actually spent a few days looking on how to text message as well (Im a newbie to the 7520 as well). Turns out you cant! This is the biggest downside to it. You can receive them but it doenst tell where it came from. It sucks really bad because ...

Onboard E-mails or server based?

I want to use a PDA for receiving courier call information via E-mail. This is very common with most courier software but the problem with all Nextel phones I've used is the E-mail is server based. If you have no connection (no signal) you have no access to that E-mail and the courier call information within.

Does the Blackberry retain the E-mails within or must you have a signal in order to look at the information at any time?

It looks good except for that question and it could stand to get on a diet.
The emails are stored on the device. The nextel berry is thicker than the cdma and gsm versions due to the speaker. I'm on mine typing this : )

Pairing

One more question.
Are you able to pair the BB7250 with a bluetooth earpiece and bluetooth capable automobile? So when in the car, it will work with that system, then when out able to use the earpiece?
Thanks

Thinking about this phone

I am thinking about buying the BB 7520, replacing my V710. It would be great to have access to my e-mail. My concern is the signal strength and call quality. Signal and quality with my V 710 has been excellent. My network is Verizon. I would like to hear some feedback from those on the Verizon network. Is there an updated BB coming out soon? Should I wait. I read all the reviews in this forum.
Many thanks 🙂

Blackberry 7520 Dash Mount?

Anyone know of a company that makes a dash mount for the Nextel BlackBerry 7510/7520?

I don't mean the lame universal mount that Nextel has, but rather a custom, snap-in dash mount.

Or perhaps someone has an alternative dash-mount solution.

Thannks, and thumbs-typers unite!
Try proclip. Looks like a good mount.
use velcro, it goes well with everything, lol.

packet data via bluetooth?

I fear that I already know the answer to this, but can a person get online using a bluetooth laptop with this phone?
Go to www.blackberryforums.com and ask the question there...it may already be on it...great forum, answers any BB questions there. I think the answer is yes for the 7290 on Cingular but not sure on this one.

BB 7520 - my first impressions

Hi,

I just received my 7520 yesterday - looks very nice, somewhat of a charcoal color. The battery door from my 7510 fit fine (although, while the black 6510 door also fit, it was a hair different in color). All of my cases for the 7510 fit the 7520 perfectly. I like the screen and two-stage white backlighting. The illuminated keys are a nice touch too. I don't know if the bezel (around the screen) is metal or "flash-plastic" but it has a cool brushed-metal look. 32mb of memory will allow more games and goodies too, but the existing 7510 apps I had didn't run well on the 7520.

I just used the included CD disc to install the latest desktop software on my PC, then pluged it in and everything worked great. It even automatically ho...

There are actually a good number of PDA-phones with Bluetooth:

Where's the 7100 series for Nextel?

I have been using the 7510 since it came out and love it BUT, I am anxiously awaiting the release of the 7100 series, on the Nextel network. Any inside info? Bluetooth and GPS aren't enough for me to upgrade to the 7520. I have been with just about every national provider in the US and think the coverage and customer service at Nextel is the best.
