does anyone know how to turn evdo off?

howdy-- i just recently got some head phones for my phone, only to find out that it doesn't push stereo... all the music was coming out on mono-right. I returned the phones, figuring they were defective... and the new ones were the same. Is the jack mono? Maybe there's a setting I missed, but I dont think so.

This may sound a little silly but I was wondering if there is any way to turn missed call tones off. I frequently get wrong number calls and telemarketers so I set those numbers to silent but i like to have the ringer on. when they call the phone doesnt ring but after i miss the call I get the missed call tone.

On all other phones there was always an option for a missed call tone to be on or off.

It might be there and I just might not be seeing it.

I transfer some mp3s to my 2gig micro SD card, I would like to use the mp3s to set as the ringtone on the phone, how do I do this? please help, thanks.

I have been trying for ages to get the bluetooth on my phone to be effective. I have recently bought an HP tx2000z laptop with a bluetooth feature which gave me hopes of making a connection with this phone. However, every time I try to send a picture to my computer, the phone will say sending failed and my computer will say something like "device is connect to the 'image push service' service on this computer" what does this mean? Thank you in advance to whoever can solve this.

I am thinking about purchasing a new chocolate. I am not sure though, I've seen some pretty bad reviews. Is there anyone out there that can give me an idea of why not to buy this phone? If I shouldn't buy it what is better choice?

hi, sometimes my lg vx-8550 just randomly turns off when i send or receive a text message. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?? I plan on going to the store one of these days, just wanted to hear if this has happened before. thanks so much!!

I was really frustrated when i first bought the music essentials kit and downloaded it only to find that i was missing a driver that connects my phone to the computer. I finally found the solution though, at http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?p=30 98

scroll to the bottom and under downloads click on the "V CAST Music Sync Reset Instructions and Tool" and download it. This fixed the problem of not having the driver and not being able to find it!

is anyone haveing problems after listening to music with the front keys and the screen. After i listen to music the screen wont shut off it will stay with out a backlight but not black. Also the center button is unlocked even when the rest of the buttons arent. is anyone else having this problem or know a fix?

This phone has the music player, and it plays in the background like as you are txting, and going through the menu, and so on and so forth, and I should know this but are there any other phones out right now that do the same thing?

Please if anyone knows let me know which one it is.
