Hmmm....
I was reading about this in an article on Slashdot last night. It said that it would start to show itself within the next couple years. It said that it actually sent an electrical charge into the liquid, which would in turn focus, zoom, etc. Pretty cool. It cuts down on power consumption, weight, and makes more room for other components.
Maybe Slashdot meant that it would be in stores in a year or two... that's about how long it takes most companies to design and produce a new phone these days.
