called party cannot hear me
Calling with my SE frequently results in the called party unable to hear me. I switched carriers from ATT to Verizon and it didn't improve. Call strength is -112. I reviewed Verizon's website and found about 1-in-10 report the same issue. ATT's website was broken as usual so I couldn't see their reviews. My Verizon Samsung flip phone has no problem with calls.

As much as Apple sucks...
They did good with this. We need more smaller-sized, high-end phones. People who prefer a smaller form factor are already routinely crapped on by manufacturers who only make large or phablet-sized phones as their high-end ones, leaving low-quality hardware for the smaller phones.
Now if only people would notice Sony more... or if other manufacturers would follow suit.
I'm not too big on Apple but I do like that they are adding variety instead of a cut and dry, big phone and small phone. They are branching out of what appears to be their comfort zone by also offering a lower end iphone, Apple made a good decision wi...

I'd get one if I didn't already have a 6s Plus.
So it's really $500
Not an IOS phone user, but I initially thought good job Apple for producing a small premium phone. That is until I just read that you don't want the $400 phone. Now we're up to $500 and you're flirting with other flagship devices.
16GB is simply not enough storage unless you're getting an SD capable phone.
I would've been fine with a 32GB base model, but a 16 GB storage isn't worth the shiny aluminum frame it's in.
Not to mention it's nearly impossible to find a 64GB model in stock anywhere. I'm on the verge of abandoning the Apple ecosystem after ...

64GB Out of stock everywhere
Been calling around to all the stores in my area and there is a 2 week minimum backorder on the 64 GB SKUs.
Apple, once again shooting itself in the foot by releasing an inferior 16 GB model, 2 of the 4 colors are completely unnecessary as well...

A little too much whine
Not enough review.
We get it, the phone is small. Some people want small phones, I know many 5s holdouts that were going to leave the brand if a replacement didn't come out by the time their phones wore out.... Which turns out a win win using the same case design too, they can keep their accessories! As for the battery. How about comparing it to the device it's replacing? mAh doesn't translate well between mobile platforms, so it is irrelevant as a commentary device.
Thanks for the feedback. We use the same standard for evaluating the battery on all phones we review. Does it last for a whole day of typical heavy use? How much battery (percentage) is left after said day? It is above or below average? We feel those ...

Sprint - Model A1662 or A1723?
Switching over to Sprint & wondering if there's a preferred model to use on their network. I mainly want to make sure I can use my phone overseas w/ a local SIM card.
if you going to use this phone for overseas, I would suggest the att or tmobile unlocked version. Most of the countries uses GSM.
when I got the iphone 6s plus for my wife, the apple sale rep told the unlocked version can go to any carrier. Since you want to use a local sim card,,, it has to be unlocked. Have fun!
Sprint uses bands 25, 26, and 41 for its LTE network. You need all three for the full "Sprint Spark" network. I strongly recommend a phone with all three of those bands, otherwise you might get very poor LTE coverage and/or speeds.
A1723 is the on...
