Finger Scanner, What Do You Think ?
So far I like it I just put my finger on the scanner and it opens the phone right away. My only thing is the phone is so tall you just have to hold the phone a little higher, ( I should have gotten the S8 Not the S8+) I mean your index finger is on the back anyway, and I have really no problem using it.
Finger scanner on the back ?
While I do agree that you can pair your device to unlock automatically when paired to a certain BT device like a car, I do have issues with that in general.
If I put my phone in its car cradle and want to unlock it... I have 3 options
1. Type in password (ugh)
2. Retina scan (not likely)
3. Touch with finger unlock.
Ok - if that's on the back of my phone, while its in a cradle, its not likely going to be feasible, just as driving while attempting to do a retina scan.

Voicemail
But I bought the unlocked version from best buy they had a 100 dollar discount.
My question is how do you get the voice mail to work?
I mean the S7 I had before was a locked phone and it had a little widget for the voice mail and would have a notification if someone left you a voicemail, the unlocked version don't seem to get notifications of voicemail, I mean you can call *86 and that works, but if your phone is off or you have airplane mode or no signal you wont know you have a voicemail?
Anyone Know how to do this, I know there a lot of people out there buying the unlocked phone , So far I like it better seems like better without all the extra apps you don't use.
Sent my S8+ back to Samsung today
The phone is built beautifully, but ended up hating the curved screen. Some apps would have text on the curved part of the screen that was almost illegible due to the curve. Some apps would have menus in the top left or right of the screen that i had to press 5-6 times until the screen responded to my touch. I feel that curved TVs were gimmicky and feel the same about this screen. I hope Apple doesn't acquiesce on their next phone just to be competitive. But minus the stupid wrap-around curved glass, the screen was indeed beautiful.
I also hated the battery life compared to an I...
