Do i think sprint will pull through, absolutely, but i also feel they will have to suffer losses to other carriers like tmobile, verizon and at&t. It is part of growing. Look what happens to the airlines when they grow to big...layoffs and cutbacks. Technology is an area we can afford to grow and expand in. This phase for sprint will be a good learning one for everyone...

ATT. to all bashing Sprint about this issue...
As far as cutting off the IDEN network (and someone already stated that it won't happen till 2012) they are implementing QChat which is the CDMA equivalent to IDEN. Sprint/Nextel is going to have to either move/upgrade all IDEN by 2012 to the QChat which will allow them to shut down IDEN.
Now for BOOST, the new Boost Unlimited phones are ALL CDMA!! SO, as far as they have seen, most of their chirp customers have already purchased new Boost Unlimited phones.
AND, you know our government is ****ed to all heck and slower than a snail running on a treadmill. You know Sprint/Nextel will get it appealed and keep it running till the IDEN co...

In marketing you either have killer product so you can command whatever price you want or have mega advertising to make people believe you are top dog (Verizon and ATT respectively), Sprint got neither!!

The FCC's J-O-B is to regulate our communications to ensure that our different technologies don't stomp on others.
How come no-one is asking them to DO THEIR FREAKING JOBS and make sure that they ACTUALLY REGULATE?
I mean, come on guys. Maybe if they'd spent a few more minutes looking at the proposals and leases of spectrum, they'd have seen the overlap????
FCC's at fault here guys, not Sprint. They shouldn't have allowed anyone else to use that spectrum.
