installing about 25 low power (.2W) LED's around deck for accent lighting.

Hello

I am going to be installing about 25 low power (.2W) LED's around deck for accent lighting.

I would like to power them off a single 20W mean well outdoor transformer.
http://www.supernight.cc/dc-12v-20a-regulated-switch ... »

I have a lot of older style X10 modules, appliance modules (AM466), motion sensors and the X10 sundowner (SD533) that I usually use for Christmas lighting

I would like to use the sundowner to control the AM466 which the transformer would be plugged into.

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions. I'm on a budget and would like to use what I have but would appreciate feedback before I purchase the transformer.

thanks in advance.

The Cake is a LIE! THE SCREEN IS A LIE!!!

I will be completely honest I am an avid iPhone user. I love my iPhone and when I drop it i feel like I am dropping my baby.

That being said I respect Google for entering the Wireless realm. I think they have done nothing but put a fire under Apples arse and hopefully will lead to more/better features for both the iPhone OS and Android.

The screen on the Nexus one is a LIE!! the true resolution is only 653 x 392.

I have a brother in the Marines, he just came back being stationed in Japan and wanted to spend some of his hard earned cash on a TOP of the line smartphone. Knowing AT&T service in California was a joke he opted for T-mobiles Nexus one. He was playing with it for a while and downloaded a book app called Aldiko and not...

Insurance for the Nexus One

I got a question about insurance. I am thinking about getting this phone and I already have T-Mobile service. Can you get insurance on the Nexus One? and if you can who do you go with, Google or T-Mobile?
you may already have the answer...but...the insurance claim goes directly through google be your insurance on your tmobile acct. is what makes ur claim a valid claim.

LED Indicator Light

My LED indicator light or battery indicator light doesn't blink when i have a new email or voicemail or text message and wanted to know if its just my phone or if the nexus one just doesn't blink when you get a message or something cause the only thing that lights up is the trackball and screen. If anyone can help me that would be great i tried downloading chompsms so i could change the color of the LED blink but it wont do anything even when I do a test notification on it. Don't want to have to return it if I got a dud or go back to the HD2.

Thanks Again.
Nope sorry. Only the trackball and the screen light up. The led light, as far as I have noticed, cannot be changed. Their might be an app to change it. Chompsms would not be able to do that tho. Sorry.

Droid or Nexus, Droid or Nexus, Droid or Nexus, Droid or Nexus, Droid or Nexus,

Droid or Nexus, my contract is up next month now I really can't decide. I sure do like the look of the Nexus but the Droid has kinda grown on me also. I don't mind waiting for it to come to Verizon in the spring; that will actually give me time to read more first hand reviews. I never really needed an actually keyboard but that has grown on me also since the Droid is so thin.

Droid or Nexus, Droid or Nexus, decisions decisions decisions.......

I bet I'm not alone, and it's finally nice to be a Verizon customer and to have so many great choices.
uh nexus... tmobile will be at 21mb soon, if you're in the right area, cost less, and plus the droid is way laggy when compared to the nexus. Google will spoil this phone with updates =P

Glad you joined the club. 😁 Congratulations

voice dialing over bluetooth on the Nexus One????

Can you do voice dialing over the bluetooth.
I cannot do this on the DROID, I have to touch the phone Voice dial icon on the screen then once the call is started it hands off the call to the Bluetooth headset.

All bluetooth phones have been able to do voice dialed calls for many years now.
For some reason the Motorola DROID cant do it right now.

I would love to know from any Nexus owners if they can start a call, using voice dial.
Using only the button on the bluetooth headset.

I am asking Nexus owners this because the 2.1 update for the DROID is supposed to have a lot of things the Nexus has including features and OS updates.

Also, since its state law on using handheld phones in a lot of states now its nuts that this is even ...

No. I have an AT&T band N1 and it does not support voice dialing over bluetooth.

Battery life on the Nexus

Hey all, I really want to get this phone and I think I'm going to get it(hopefully) but I'm reading A LOT of complaints about battery life. Some people who has it are giving advice on ways to save more energy. I know it's a very high powered phone and you could tell it will use a lot of juice.

Are any of you guys/gals having issues with the battery and what do you think? So far from the reviews I'm reading here about it, nobody has any cons on the battery.

Thanks!
the way i use my phone it can last 1.5 days with the energy saver to stop applications from draining the battery.
wake up and use data for 1/2 hour
i work from 9-8, only texting
use data 1-2 hours

and the battery life will last for 1.5 days fo...

T-mobile Service

How is the service and coverage on TMO. I've heard varying stories.I want a Nexus but concerned about TMO. Please confirm. Thanks in advance .
They just quietly unrolled the fastest 3g network in some east coast test markets. Go to the T Mo website and check the coverage at your house, work, school, etc. If it is dark green, then you will have the fastest speeds w T Mo. Especially with that ...

Documents??

Can you view or edit any of MS Office (Word or Excel)? How about PDF?
The best program for this is Documents to Go (14.99 on the market) there are free view/simple edit options as well, but the Doc to go is a great program. One of my only "purchases" thus far.

Is it a "Touch" screen or is it heat sensitive like the iphone?

I have used several "touch" screen phones but none seem to even compare to be as easy to use as the iphones heat sensitive touch screen. So I ask how is the touch screen on this phone? It it closer to the iphone or to something like the one's samsung has been releasing?
You're refering to a capacitive screen and yes this has one.

you should be fine.
The short answer is that it's more like the iPhone.

The kind of touch sensor the iPhone has is called capacitive. It responds the electrical properties of your finger (not heat.) It's generally considered the better kind. Most people find it more r...

Tmobile uses the same 3g frequencies as Europe, so making it work with Tmobile means it can be sold overseas as a 3g phone as well.

At the same time, while ATT is FINALLY joining the android revolution, don't expect them to really push the platform...

Is the Nexus One the rumored Passion?

Is the HTC Passion the Verizon version of the Nexus One?
Doubt it.. though it's similar looking.

I think the passion is an HTC SenseUI phone, while the Nexus One is a Stock android phone. I can't see HTC naming a phone that's going to be sold as a Google phone.
