Kyrocera Update gone bad
my kyrocero echo phone is not active but am able to use the wi-fi and camera. My question is it had an automatic update while on the web that the phone needed to be restarted for it to take effect well... when it powered back on nothing. Only black screen with KYROCERA on one of the screens. Phone wont do . Tried taking battery out for a while even called customer service they couldnt help. Please someone help im lost without my slots.

I am the avdvocate for this phone and I am happy to say that I am very pleased with how well it does work. the battery is phenomenal it works very well. it has lasted a lease 2 days for me. by the way it comes with an additional battery that has a power box that can be used with any phone as an outside power supply. I downloaded a few apps and they do work in tablet mode very well. Using email the phone is the best because of the two screens. Its like I'm on my home computer. 1 side has the list of emails, while the other screen has the open email. Having the ability to have two browser pages opened at the same time is more useful than I thought. There is little to no lag as I was expecting. But everyone who has got bad things to sassy about...

My first car ever (1989 Volvo Wagon) was clunky, squared off, and huge - but it served me well, and could certainly take a lickin and keep on tickin! And it was definitely frickin' cool. ;)
I've been saying this all along...
"The Echo is the first handset that can honestly and truly multitask, as far as I am concerned"
And it's true.
No matter how hard you bash Windows phone or iOS, NO PHONE truly multi-tasks unless you can actually USE two apps at the same time like on a computer.
It would be fun to see a better manufacturer produce a phone like this... HTC???

I can not think of any good or successful phones made by this company. The spec's seem great but what about quality?

i would like to thank sprint for thinking outside the box.
i really think this is a cool ideal from sprint it might work or it might not. but at least it is different from any other device out there. just thought i would give some credit to sprint for this one. i am getting one on launch day anybody else?

Producing a great product is something else entirely.
Putting a small battery in a multi-screen phone with a 1GHZ single-core processor sounds like a terrible idea.

This phone's two screen together have about an inch more of screen than an Evo turned sideways. Multi-tasking is awkward at best. I hope there isn't a flood of early adopters for this device because right now its lookin like a stinker.

This has a lower spec batter than the LG Optimus S (1500 MAh).
Running two full size screen? I see this thing lasting 2 hours at a time (no matter what the PS spec says).

Two months before this phone gets delegated to pre-paid.
I'd be willing to bet, that after flopping horribly on Sprint this phone will be the perfect device for Virgin Mobile.

The only thing this is causing is further fragmentation of the Android platform. Do you think Google will spend any time making their new versions compatible with this? Don't expect any new versions....
