I have heard a lot about the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 and would like to buy one. I have checked out stores and even the ebay listings although got no luck whatsoever. I was hoping if someone here could help if they new where I could buy a Sidekick 3. Thank You!
you can go to a t-mobile store/website to buy it or go to an authorized agent that sales it. i suggest the corporate store

my replacement sidekick 3 has a previously saved user and i cant acces data services
ok well let me start by saying i just recieved my replacement sidekick 3 in the mail. i pop in my sim card, battery and turn it on. well it asked me to log in to my sidekick with an account called "bichngo" and it does not let me switch the user to my previous user name. i have tried everything and nothing. i called tmobile and they said theyre tool was down or something and for me to call another day. well i just wanted to know if i am the only one who has encountered this or in you have any tips. it would help alot. thanks.
Try this out and I hope it works out for you

to answer some unlocking questions
i have seen the SK3 make and receive calls with a cingular sim card. we did not try to send a text or surf the net. Cell One did not work in it. those are the only 2 we tried. when we put the cingular sim in the phone it powerd right up and then went to the settings menu and then to the network setting(i think). selected search for network and selected cingular and it started working WITH OUT an unlock code. i hope this helps.

Im not sure if this has been posted or not but I got a sk3 yesterday in the mail and i already own a MDA, now with the mda i have the unlimited internet plan and i know that wont work with the sKiii but i was wondering if the skiii plan will work with the mda being that i would just need to have unlimited internet.....

Trackball Help!!!
Hi everyone,
Well I started this account because I need some help with my sidekick 3. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I'm not sure if anyone else is having a problem with the trackball on their sk3 but I surely am. I've had this phone for less than 2 months and now the trackball chooses not to scroll down the screen when I want it to. Its fine scrolling up, left, and right but not down. I've had to use the left control pad to go down. I'm so used to using just the trackball and this sucks. And after just 2 months? Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Any suggestions to fix the problem? Please help!!!

what would happen if i buy the sidekick without the data plan?
i know i won't have internet and instant messaging, but i will still be able to text message.

When you get a sidekick 3 without the data plan you have a phone, no IM, no internet, and no data backup through danger's servers. With you can text and call but that's it. Look at it this way...it costs 10 cents to send or receive a text message an...

Stick with verizon and get a Q, the sk3 is not that great.

Sidekick 3 vs. Blackberry Pearl
I am a Sprint user, the Sanyo MM-7400. I have become dismayed with Sprint recently (they tried to screw me on an upgrade), & am considering a crossover to T-Mobile.
The 2 phones I am considering at this point are the Sidekick 3 & the Blackberry Pearl.
I am scared by the SK3's poor reviews on this board. Review-wise, the Pearl sounds like a better phone.
My primary uses: text messaging (I'm a text message addict!) & emailing. I do both constantly. I also like to surf to various sites, too, like my bank, myspace, etc. I also am into having separate ringtones for each friend, & catchy ringtones for text message alerts.
Those things considered, which would be the better phone for me? I think I am making a choice tomorrow, & ...

to me ...it sounds like you should go with watever your budget allows
the sk3's qwerty seems better for you though. Also, the plans for data are differnet .i believe the blackberrys are more expensive ..you should check the site for data + PH...

Well, that depends on where you live. Go to Tmobile.com to check the coverage. TMobile service is fabulous in my area 🙂

Can this sidekick 3 be repaired?
My Sidekick fell and then one of my cousins accidently stepped on it. The screen came off but it did not crack, the bottom half does turn on audio works lights works. The bottom half some orange thin wire sticking out so does the screen, can it be fixed?
