If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you think sucks most about it?
If it's just that there's not much activity, then please give it time. It's a brand-new community. Considering it's only a week old, it's actually doing pretty well.
I can build a forum system, but building a real "community" is a whole different ball of wax.
It's something I've never done before, and it's not something I can do alone. One person does not a community make - it's up to everyone to contribute ideas, questions, facts, opinions, and insight.
It's up to you, me, and everyone - to make this an interesting and worthwhile place to hang out.
With that said, if there's something you don't like about the way the forums system actually work...

Maybe not much, though. I'll keep an eye and see how things turned out. It was just an easy way to access Usenet from work. Now that's gone.
I can understand why they did it. But I was here for Usenet access in a way that *didn't* create the multi-posts SU never seemed all that eager to fix.
