What can I do with 4G, umm, absolutely nothing because I live in Phoenix
The EVO looks awesome, but this whole touting of its 4G capabilities is annoying because I cant get Wimax in the 5th biggest city in the USA and it seems there is no scheduled arrival of wimax in phoenix. Guess Ill just stick with ATT and get the next iphone, at least I know those will be in stock.
...
It's still the fastest 3G phone out, and your still paying 20-40 bucks a mnth LESS than you would with att. I'm not seeing the issue???
...
...pretty much the same-- nothing! If you actually happen to live where it does work, your competing with every other iPhone user downloading useless crapola on their phones.
...
Where exactly does this competing with every other Iphone user stuff come from, Sprint & ATT are 2 completly different networks.
...
even though you dont have it now you will soon.
...
I wouldn't be too confident about those being in stock for too long. Lots of people foaming at the mouth just for the pre order date.
Don't cry about 4 g, it will get to you. Probably a few months into your new 2 year I phone contract 😁

Technically it is not the 5th biggest city it would be the 12th; because Miami " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami-Dade_Count y,_Florida Miami" , is now Miami Dade county, but it hasn't become official because of population of individual municipalities within their defined limits, which does not include other municipalities or unincorporated suburban areas within urban agglomerations. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_United_ States_Metropolitan_Statistical_Areas.
But besides that, if you don't want the phone don't get it, the phone is still a beast in 3g coverage.

The Iphone will not be in stock, I can garuntee it.
Second, Sprint's 3G is WAY better than AT&T's 3G.
And Third, trust me, 4G will be in Phoneix within the next year. There are currently 32 markets with 4G, and sprint is looking to have 50 markets by the end of 2010, and 100 markets by this time next year. I would be willing to bet my house on the fact that Phonix will be one of those 100 Cities.
