Sprint Corporate Discount - Any Impacts on Upgrade Eligibility at all?

OK So I got an e-mail earlier today that my application for the American Airlines 25% Corporate Employee Discount was denied due to not accepting the commitment to renew for the 2 year Contract. I have done my research/reading and as a result, I am aware that there was a change in the policy that basically reads that this is now a requirement for a new subscriber to become eligible for obtaining the Corporate Discount. I am pretty sure that this must be the industry standard across all cellular carriers as well. And besides, all this does for me is push my Contract end date up 4-5 months from March 2012 to July 2012.

However, my argument here is not so much on the fact that I was misinformed about the Contract being required or not but...

it renews your contract for 24 months from the date you accept the discount, but does not affect upgrade eligibility dates

Thanks! 25% ain't a bad corporate discount to have! 😎 Would you happen to know if there are higher ones out there? My wife is on the verge of changing jobs possibly and if there is an opportunity within another firm that happens to have an opportunity similar to her background, then heck I would not mind! 😁

%20-%25 is average. The highest discount available (that I know of) is Waste Management at %35, which even beats the employee discounts by quite a hunk.

You want to be nice to the people handling your sewage... 🙂

Not trying to be smart..but how is a 35% discount cheaper than free (the cost of employee lines). Unless you work for a third party.
