I've currently got an 8330, and kinda hate it. Well... it's more of a love/hate relationship. I love my BB, but hate how slowly it operates.
My question is about the 8530 specifically. I don't want another BB that takes forever to open a message, or start the camera and save a photo. How does the 8530 perform for everyday tasks? And should I just pony up and get the Bold?
Thanks!

Pony up get the 9650.... super fast!

So BB6 is being released. 𤤠Does anyone know when Sprint will be getting a BB6 capable device?
Thanks a ton!

Personally I like the BB 8530. I have been using it for approx 2 months. I guess it depends on what you are using it for. I use facebook,I dowloaded about 15 apps thru the bb app world, I do email *2 accounts, alot of texts, and minimal calling. For what I use it for and for the price best buy was offering the phone for I would def give it a 9.5/10 I say go for it!!!

Only 6.0 capable device right now is the Bold 9650

The Bold is 6.0 capable! I thought it wasn't. That seals the deal! đ¤¤

yea now we are playing the waiting game for it to be released! I want it on my bold right now!
...
We'll be getting the Curve 9330 at some point, which will have BB OS6.

After reading your earlier post, you may want to make sure the new blackberry will work with sero, some are now requiring the new plans.
...
I handle SERO accounts and no, The 9650 & 9530 will not work not even with the much talked about mystery buy up. (I've only seen it on an account once and never spoken with someone who can add it, so prepare yourself for a monster headache even trying to get information on it)
If you're up for changing the plan you defiantly can as there a a few things the Everything Plus plans support that SERO wont as it was released before they existed. Are you on the SERO 500 or 1250?
...
Suck. đĸ
I'm on the SERO F&F 500. I might just end up getting an older BB from Craigslist, or going to a different device only when my Curve goes kaput. I don't know if I can handle not having a smartphone though. I tried to divide the function between two devices before, and it just didn't fit my lifestyle. âšī¸

Yeah SERO 500 to E+ 500 is a big jump. if you were on the 1250 it wouldn't be that much different. You could always go with a windows mobile device, though unless I had your account in front of me I couldn't make a real recommendation as sometimes if they are already provisioned for the older blackberries they actually can't go to some of the newer devices.
I can't even change from blackberry to non black berry on the regular plans (though thats partly because I'm in sales not care and I just don't have the permissions for it. There are other things in the plan that customers don't get charged for, but still make it technically a different plan. BB's work differently than a lot of other devices do.
Obviously giving out your info on ph...
