You Fail, sprint added subscribers the last quarter, and is the most improved company in the us in customer service over the last 2 years. They are on par with Verizon with new phones (some would say the best in the industry).

Sprint did add customers last quarter. But how about the 8 quarters before? 1 positive quarter isn't a turn around.

They are not a major factor in how the other two do business. They have had better plans and give you allot if you ask and have steady lost customers until yes just last quarter. I like sprint other they did me wrong when I had them but I had no issues with phones or network.

people will pay for good service it is just a fact. Walmart is losing ground form this fact. They lost sight of the customer service aspect. They miscalculated thinking people will shop there just for low prices and they are paying now. I would rather shop at publix then walmart or go to kohls or something else. I hate going to walmert anymore.
Now with verizon I have 3g everywhere (at least in all my travels) my buddy with att doesn't have voice something were we go let alone 3g. I don't have data issues he gets once in a while. one thing for my point. VM cames out with $40 unl data plan. Verizon comes back with a $80 5gb plan. You see my point on they are not worried about VM or sprint until they start taking subs away from them. Once sprint and I think it is possible starts taking subs then sprint can alter what att and verizon do.

Prepaid companies are always cheaper than post-paid. All cell phone carriers get calls from customers who want to switch to a much cheaper prepaid service. There are benefits to being with a post-paid carrier, and therefor no pre-paid service worries post-paid at all. In fact, many of the 'competing' pre-paid companies are ran by the post-paid companies, so it does not hurt them at all when a customer switches.

that 80 dollar plan was prepaid with Verizon. My point is sprint is not a prepaid carrier and has way cheaper plans but doesn't add the numbers the other two do. And until they do sprint can offer 19.99 a month for everything and neither would follow till the customers do.

My mom does. She is effectively keeping me on Verizon where I can use Friends and Family. I only have one F&F number (my Google number) the other nine are for her and she uses them, too. Only one of her nine is a cell number.

We don't get paid so much on sales, most of our pay is based on customer satisfaction via outbound surveys. That would definately drop if they were paying less monthly on average. Lower payed employees equals a lesser customer service experience (nobody wants to be paid the equivelant of a burger-flipper for a job that really is more difficult). And when customer service sucks, cheap plans won't be enough to keep customers!
So, long story short, I don't think that the rates of plans is solely for corporate profit; they have *a lot* of employees to pay to talk customers through using their phones. If the customer's didn't call in so much, and went through greater lengths to solve their own troubleshooting issues (essentially only calling w...

I think that alot of people would switch to sprint, and it would prevent alot of people from switching to boost or something like that.
I get a lot of people on the simply everything moving to boost, because boost is half the price. if sprint was only $20 more, I think a lot of people wouldn't bother with the switch.

In all reality $69.99 for unlimited text, unlimited data, 450 minutes to landlines or businesses, and unlimited calling to all cell phones just listen to that plan. I have been with verizon, atnt, cellular one, and sh** tmobile and I can guarantee you that they cannot compete with that plan. I'm not even on a data plan. I'm on the messaging 1500 with my wife and In-laws. I work for sprint, and my customers want more.
I'm just saying that other than landlines, the plan is essentially unlimited. Why not just take out that last barrier. It would make the plan easier to understand, and the amount of money that it costs sprint for our customers to call landlines, would far be outweighed by new customers, as well as people upgrading their plans.
