Hero slowed to a crawl...
This time it's my phone... 😁
So, anyways, the Hero is slow. Not just a little slow, but astronomically slow. Pressing any icon, including opening the Applications menu or opening the dialer, takes 15+ seconds to work. The SenseUI also crashes regularly.
There are no applications that should be modifying the phone calls, home screen, or SenseUI. There are no Task Managers/Killers installed, and the problem happens when everything except required functions is terminated via Manage Applications. The problem did not begin with the download or use of a new application, but just to make sure, I did delete all additional downloaded applications (there were not very many).
Next step is wiping the phone and starting anew to see if that wo...

Did you used to have a task killer? They can seriously f**k up system files, and a factory reboot is the only way to fix it.
