Month-to-Month - Sprint/Boost/Virgin
Looking at getting a emergency/personal phone...main phone is contracted through work, so I cannot combine plans. However, would still need web, unlimited texting, email & not alot of minutes.
Does Sprint offer month-to-month plans (not 2yr contract plans) if the phone is bought at full price--or if a Sprint-branded phone is brought in for activation (i.e. used)?
My other choice is looking at Boost/Virgin for month-to-month plans. As they are both Sprint operated/owned, do they have the same roaming agreements with Verizon, or is coverage limited only to Sprint? I looked at both their maps, and this is what it seems to be.
Also regarding Boost/Virgin, are the phones ESN numbers shared between the two and/or with Sprint (i.e. activat...

Sprint itself does not do prepaid (non-contract). Depending on what type of phone you'd like, VM's Beyond Talk plans would be good for what you're looking for. Their best phones are the bb curve 2 (rim8530), LG Optimus and Samsung Intercept.
And unless you go to a third party store and have the phone flashed (at buyer risk), the phones are not interchangeable, with the exception of older Nextel models with Boost.
