New info on the Sony Ericsson T608
It WILL be coming out before christmas, BUT don't get all excited. you still may not be able to purchase it.. I was told it was being released by Telematics only for release in the new 2004 Lexus' and will not be available in retail stores... Sprint is not really wanting to release Bluetooth on thier handset, because you can use the phone as a modem WITHOUT the cables.. They are real stuck on this PC/Latop crap.

The fact that bluetooth and CDMA use the same technowledgy isn't hurting either. Sprint and Verizon are staying away from Bluetooth because it can interfere with the signal the phone is getting from the tower.

Sprint is coming out with the T608.. I have seen in on the website. I'll find you the link later. But Sprint really doesn't want to have a bluetooth enabled Vision phone becuase They WON'T need the cable to use the phone as a modem for laptops. That is why this phone is being released in limited areas. through E-care, and through Telematics, as part of the New Lexus package.

That's simply not true. Bluetooth works at 2.4 GHz. Sprint's CDMA signals are at 1.9 GHz. Different frequencies don't interfere.
