Question for corp store reps, best buy reps, and/or radioshack reps
Motorola XPRT
Optimus Slider
I cannot get a 4G phone due to plan restrictions and there is no 4G in my area so I am not paying the fee when I cannot even get the service.
I can't choose between the HTC Evo Shift and the Samsung Epic
I'm going to be switching to Sprint soon, and I can't choose between the EVO Shift and the Epic. I love having a physical keyboard, and from looking at all their phones I've narrowed it down to those two. What should I do? What should I pick? Is there something else I should hold out for?
My contract with US Cellular runs out June 28th, so that's when I'd switch.
Any and all help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Phone like the G2X/Sensation for Sprint (Upcoming phones)
My TMO coverage is suspect at best whereas my Sprint MiFi is incredible and because of that I usually have my G2X connected to the Mifi with Wifi calling enabled. Since I can get some fairly heavy discounts with Sprint through my client (23% monthly discount with $200 hardware credit per annum on approved devices) I'm thinking about just dropping TMO and going solely with Sprint.
What I need help with is that the current Android lineup for Sprint is underwhelming when compared to my G2X which is one of the best phones I ever ...

EVO 2.3 Update question
Urgent Sprint issue from a store rep...
An couple entered my store today and expressed their desire to terminate one of the lines on their account which was still in contract (ETF $180) and immediately add a new line with a Data 450 plan and an HTC Evo. I was happy to add a new line for them and thoroughly went over all the ramifications of terminating a line. They understood and asked me to set it up.
Since I'm not able to cancel a line in store (not sure if even a corporate location can do that) I called account services and told the rep what the customers wanted. He asked to speak to the customers. He apparently told them that it would actually be cheaper to buy the phone at retail cost (485.00) and that if they did t...

Sprint's continued turn around
Associated Press Newswires 17 May 2011 -- By PETER SVENSSON
NEW YORK (AP) - Sprint Nextel Corp., once dead last in customer satisfaction among the Big 4 national wireless carriers, now has the happiest subscribers, along with long-time leader Verizon Wireless, according to a survey released Tuesday.
The American Customer Satisfaction Index also shows tentative declines in customer satisfaction at the other two big carriers, AT&T Inc. and T-Mobile USA. That comes as AT&T has agreed to buy T-Mobile USA for $39 billion in a deal that could close next year.
The acquisition could make AT&T and T-Mobile customers even less happy. Claes Fornell...

What was Sprint thinking???
CDMA vs. iDEN?
All it has done is force numerous Nextel customers, who didnt realize how chitty of a network they were on to do some research and switch to a superior carrier like Cingular, and as much as it pains me to say it even Verizon.
Although with all the progression cingular has been making and is looking to make, in about two years the capability of cingular's network will be unparalleled.
when they start offering download speeds of 28 Mbps and 11 Mbps UPLOADS!!!!! your local cable companies and DSL providers wont be able to compete....
Why don't you all jump off of your network and bring i...
