Is this true ?

Virgin Mobile is part of Sprint and they had more activations then Sprint in the 4th quarter of 2003. If you tell me, prepaid can be profitable but it's non contractual and that is not steady income. Check financial reports, Sprint is losing tons of money. They are negative in cash flow. Watch TV, I am seeing less and less of that annoying Sprint guy which goes to show....they have no money to advertise. Also, the main reason that they came out with night and weekends starting at 7 is because they were trying to keep their customers from porting their numbers out to better carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular, etc. This advertisement conveni...

Why would anyone sign up with Sprint PCS?
Verizon Wireless is the hands down carrier to be with.
#1 in customer service (JD powers & Consumer Reports).
#1 in coverage (same sources)
Sprint PCS repeatedly is at the bottom in both catogories.
Let me know when you figure this one out.

MY Sprint experience
I had sprint back in 2001-2002. Now they had some pretty good coverage and I rarely (if ever) dropped a call. I was quite happy with them. I left them for At&t for 2 main reasons...
1) Their plans where too much money for too little minutes. (I am not sure how the plans are now but I will check)
2) Their rude ass customer service reps. (Now not all of them are bad. Only a select amount...but I seemed to get stuck with the Assholes when I called 8 out of 10 times).
Thes...

Input of your Sprint experience
The thing I like about T-Mobile is internet feature and the text messaging. It's the sms format, and I'm not sure what Sprint is like exactly, but I heard that you have to connect to a network or the internet to get your text messages; and I know I dont want to have to do that.
Sorry if this type of topic has already been discussed, but I have dial up and its seriously slow and i dont have all day to go through all ten pages of thr...

Sprint's customer service - another horror story
* i have NEVER reached a rep without being on hold forever. and if i'm calling with a grievance, the rep i 1st reach is not able to help me i'm being transferred to another rep - which involes more hold time, and so on and on. more than once, a rep has asked me if she could put me on hold, and before even i could respond no, she put me on hold anyway.
* i always call them using *2 from my cellphone. in my opinion, it is very unfair to charge airtime for talking to customer service. given their average hold time,...

Got Ready Link??
Just wondering if anyone in here as the Sanyo 7200 (aka RL2000). I love the way this phone looks (plus it's a Sanyo...oh those Sanyos... 😁 ) So I wanted to know is it worth me leaving At&t for. I had Sprint before but I left because of their CS and prices. I am thinking of coming back "home" to them but I see they are still rolling out new things so I am trying to wait and see what else they have up their sleeves. Another reason I am comtemplating leaving At&t is Sprint's RL service...but is it any good? I am not liking the $15 extra charge just to use it though 😡 I think they should create plans with the RL included like Nextel does with it's plans. Anyway any info would be appreciated...especially from a Sprint rep 😉 ...

Hitachi p300
And what about the speakerphone? Is it sufficiently loud and clear?
I am a novice user and was wondering since the phone specs say it operates at 1900 mhz does that mean that it will not pick up an analog signal? 🤭
Thanks,
Mright123 😁
