CDMA 800/1900 coverage
I used the coverage map to determine if i can get service with virgin mobile at a certain location and it said there was none, but i was wondering if i buy a cdma 800/1900mhz phone from virgin, could it roam/use other cdma towers that use 800/1900?

on virgin mobile's site it stated "no roaming, so no roaming charges" sounds like they say there is no roaming capabilities at all.

Well, they are an MVNO that uses the Sprint network. Sprint has roaming agreements with Verizon, Alltel and others so I am not sure why it says they do not roam. That is strange why they would say that.

Yea I know about that. Nonetheless, usually they all have some kind of roaming agreements. After further relooking into the matter and comparing the maps from both Sprint’s coverage map and Virgin’s, it looks like there is no roaming what so ever. You can see a big difference in coverage maps and the gaps in Virgin’s coverage vs. Sprint’s total coverage.
