Caller ID on landlines phones
Hello, I have a question: does anyone knows if possible to remove a name from an account or something similar.
I noticed when I called a landline phone not only the phone number but also my name is in the caller ID. I would like only the number to be shown in the caller ID and not the name.
Is this possible in the Metro Pcs system.
If you have any knowlede about it let me know what to do.

I know you can have it so it shows private i'm not sure about showing just the number though.

It's best if you go into a MetroPCS corporate store (not a dealer) and ask them to reset the name that shows on your caller ID to "Unknown." The can put Pluto or Mickey if that's what you want to show. So, it's just a matter of having them replace your name to something that's more mysterious.
I had them change the caller ID of my phone from my legal (and formal) name to my nickname and last name. That's worked for over three years now.
