how's metro pcs in san francisco
i'm thinking of getting a brand new cell phone line with metro pcs, i like the price and unlimited minutes, but can't believe it, it's gotta be too good to be true, can anyone tell me how the service is in san francisco, maybe especially in the sunset district of the city, i know carriers like verizon are great but cost more, am i gonna sacrifice reliability for price with metro pcs, i am new to this, this would be my first cell phone subscription ever, any and all help would be appreciated before i make a mistake

also, i wanted to add that, i was also thinking of subscribing to metro pcs so i could cancel home phone service, and use metro pcs as my mobile and home phone

I don't live in the San Fransisco area so i cant tell you about reliability in the area. But MetroPCS has a "30 minute or less" guarentee that if you are not satisfied w/ their service you can return the phone you bought and you'll get your money back no questions asked. 30 minutes is far too little time to judge reception and reliability so i would recommend testing it in areas where u know ur gonna use your phone the most.
The good news is that your first month is free when you buy a new phone and they have really great plans and you save a lot of money. I personally would recommend that you ask for one of their AWS phones, just so you can get coverage in the new areas they are expanding to. For example Las Vegas.

and to add to my response, you should keep your landline, surprisingly they are still reliable, and always works if there is a power-outage.
