Kyocera e2000 vs. Samsung u520
i dont know what market ur in, but im in the detroit area, and the U520 has excellent to moderate reception(i rarely drop calls), and evdo is good (if you have it in ur area), the megapixel cam is good, although the phone is thin, its not too thin and its surprisingly durable and fits well into the pocket and it also has a strong hinge...
for the kyocera, i heard complaints about the hinge becomming loose, poor reception and the phone seems buggy, not to mention it got bad reviews, go w/ the samsung u520

and to answer ur question EVDO stands for (Evolution Data Optimized) its one of the 3g broadband networks for phones, its basically faster internet for the phone, dsl-like speeds, 400kbs-700kbs in that range and it can get as fast as 2.4mbs (sorry if this sounds too technical)
Metropcs has it in certain markets, unfortunately not in the detroit area but i get EVDO in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas (im a student)... here's a link if u want to know more and to tell if u have evdo just look at ur screen, if it has a lil box that says "1x" then you have a slower connection, or "EV" if u have evdo, but its not really a b...
