Release of the LG VX6100?
I just moved down to Klamath Falls, Oregon this last month. Now, I am in need of a new carrier since my last (Verizon) isn't able to give me all my features.
I've been looking at the LG VX6100, and it looks like a great phone. I've heard that USCC is supposed to get this phone 🙂 , but all I've found under the VX6100 forum is that it is being released for Verizon 👿 .
Does anyone know if USCC is getting the phone or not 😕 ? If not, what phone do you recommend?

It was supposed to be coming out to replace the 6000, as far as I know it is still in testing and will come out at a later date.
I would say wait before geting a phone, there are some better ones due to come out before the xmas phone rush such as the Moto V710 and Kyocera SoHo.

I heard it just started testing, and probably won't be out before Christmas (although I hope that's wrong). Looks pretty sweet- it has everything the VX6000 has except for the scrolling external display, and adds all the features I've been wanting like speakerphone with drive mode, and analog coverage, and holds more pics. 😁

SoHo has been approved! It's available from the NDC starting October 20th, that's pretty good. I hope they're decent, I'm not impressed with Kyoceras thus far... 😕
As for the V710, I heard testing is going well- also hear that Bluetooth will NOT be crippled, which would be great. Haven't heard anything solid though. The V810 passed really quickly, I'm hoping we'll get the V710 by the beginning of December, but don't quote me on that!
Oh, and the Koi has also been approved- should be out by the end of the month. Man I hope that one's better than the rest of Kyocera's lineup!

V710 will be released from the NDC on November 17th. From what I've heard the Koi is "hopefully" going to be released around that time as well however the Koi is still in testing. The Motorola V710, Kyocera SoHo & Nokia 6519 have all been approved as of last week.

6519? Never heard anything about this phone and I'm not able to find anything about it online, is it a submodel of another phone or what?

I don't know...it's a toss up for me between the v710 and the Koi. I've seen both in person already and even though the Koi doesn't have Bluetooth or the Flash memory card slot it looks pretty spiffy. Plus the value of a phone that opens like a switchblade adds alittle more excitement! 😈
