Am I getting scammed by USCC?
Received a text msg that I had been signed up for 2 "free" weeks of city and state location services.
Now are they going to start billing me after the two weeks which I did not request unless I specifically cancel and how do I do so.
I hate these offers where you have to opt out to avoid getting slammed with unordered charges.

Its from easy edge. and if you dont choose to keep it and pay for a subscription it will go away. Or you cal just dial 611 and tell customer service you dont want it.

But it WILL go away if I ignore it? I don't have to opt out by calling right? I see that I am getting location info but I know who and where the people are that call me and I suspect that if it were caller ID blocked the location would be blocked also. As a feature it is nice but I shouldn't have to pay extra for it. That's like asking us to pay for call id- it should be part of that normally.
