Thank God For Extensive Testing!!!
So, apparently, the AT&T Quickfire, a pretty popular Sidekick Slide-esque phone made by PCD (WTF?) for AT&T Mobility has been pulled from all shelves and is no longer even available on the AT&T Wireless website because the toy (yeah.... look at it) actually can catch on fire if you plug its ominously symmetrical charger in upside down, bursting into a... um... quick fire. So this really shows how well ATT tests their phones. LOL. Stories like this make me glad that USCC goes through months of testing. Oh, and according to unconfirmed reports, ATT actually discovered this problem after a man made that fatal mistake with his car charger, sat it on his lap so he would feel it vibrate, and ended up in a very serious accident after the phone ca...

Thanks God for extensive testing, yes, but geez, it gets hard sometimes to look at such a bare phone bar when we are waiting for our new phones to clear and get to stores. It's getting kind of skinny right about now.

i couldnt agree more. i have been selling wines this entire time and its not that great of a phone. its entry level. us cellular give me something good to sell!

Good point about looking before leaping. It can just seem hard in "bare phone bar" moments to appreciate it. Stepping back from it though, we focus on selling SERVICE and not on the phones, so it just makes us better sales people. Anyone can geek about a phone, but putting people in the right plans and the right phones is what sets us apart.
