I don't really see it happen, as USCC isn't likely to be sold anytime soon anyway. Also, Sprint has always avoided lower band frequencies (outside of Nextel) due to propogation issues with lower band frequencies.
So if USCC were to be sold, USCC would still end up being split up, due to USCC overlapping with iPCS, which Sprint hasn't attempted hard enough to buyout. If Sprint did go after USCC, I believe it would be for their PCS spectrum, and nothing else. Even so, Sprint wouldn't be able to acquire USCC in iPCS markets, and that would include places like South Bend & Fort Wayne Indiana, Champaign Illino...

The Uscc execs like to compare the company to the big national carries and like to say they are just as competitive. Now would be the time to make that happen instated of just talking.
Take a page from Vz & ATT, open up that check book and come of some of the cash they are hoarding and pick off some of the other smaller carriers. Make a move to buy Cricket form Leap or MetroPcs or some of the divested Altell markets.
If you want to play with the big kid's start acting like one. Push up the EvDo...
