USCC web site

I am a USCC brand evangelist and am definitely not somebody who would normally rant on the forums. However, something NEEDS to be done about our web site. Seriously, is that the best we can do?! We have the least attractive and effective web site of any major carrier, by far. It looks like something I would have thrown together while browsing through how to make a web page tutorials on WebMonkey when I was in high school 10 years ago. The front page feels small and uninteresting, there is no graphic flow for users eyes to browse across the page, and the quick links remind me of cheap banner ads. Inside, the font is obnoxiously large and hard to follow through the page. Also, the format doesn't work half of the time (e.g. I will see a ...

Disagree. If you have been a customer for so long then you would have visited the site previously. You would then kno that USCC has made humongous quantum leaps with their website since it debuted. I'm pretty sure the latest overhaul was like last summer, and if you would've seen it previous to that you wouldn't be complaining. I actually think our site is pretty streamlined and clean compared to other cell company sites, like Sprint's. Another thing to note is that Verizon and ATT websites aren't even completely devoted to their wireless division and, until you grow accustomed to entering the specific wireless site URL, you have to navigate to that section. As far as T-Mobile goes, let's just say that it's not too hard to enter a URL l...

Verizon and att both have direct sites what are you talking about?

verizon vzw.com or verizonwireless.com or

Cingular/ATT

attwireless.com or cingular.com (still works just redirects!)

I agree, and disagree with you. The site still can possibly be perceived as small-ish and behind the times. It needs to be more streamlined yes its true. But, like westernmd said, it is a huge huge improvement over where the site has been in previous years. There will be other improvements coming down the line in 2nd and 3rd quarter of this year, so stay tuned.

I couldn't agree more. The site sucks. It looked even ****tier 2 years ago. I wouldn't expect anything more from a crappy "marketing team" like uscc's. I will re-do the whole site for uscc, as soon as they contact one of my attorneys. 🤣

i think our site is doing its job. somethings can be hard to find but for the most part- if you have commen sense and use the internet frequently - you should be able to navigate it fairly easily. it does work a lot better and more competitively than it did 2 years ago and some of the other carriers sites are a lot harder to navigate, as stated above- sprint is horrible, and t mobile store finder doesnt even tell you what you can do at each store. pymts, tech, etc

I Disagree. Every customer I've talked to about the website finds it much easier to use and straightforward as opposed to, say, Verizon or Sprint. We are a no nonsense company that focuses on our customers and our website is for the customer not to out-do other carriers by cluttering up the page with nonsense.

...perhaps that's more appropriate feedback to give to USCC rather than on an anonymous forum? Out of everything you know about this company, one thing that should stand out is that we value open feedback and act on it as often as possible. There are more appropriate and productive outlets for your ideas- use them!
