More like Indiana...USC customer service (prepaid included) is in-house. During high volume times they do have a backup system that routes calls to a third party located in the US.

Grow-up and stop fear mongering.

It's not India, it's Nicaragua. And it's not all of prepaid customer service, it's a small portion. Get your facts straight. 😲

No jobs were shipped out of the US. No one in the US lost thier job. US Cellular did not lay off or fire a single employee in a call center to make room for a job in another country. So, technially if the job was never here it was never shipped out.

what does it matter if the custome service rep. has an accent? Whether they speak Spanish, Chinese, Urdu, etc, as long as they do their job, what's it to you?

Yeah, calling pre-paid customer service used to be just as great as calling our post paid customer service however, now I can't take it, I have to repeat myself 3 times or more every single call.
