so about the tour...
I was just wondering, i buy all of my phones without contracts so i have to pay full price for them. and i was wondering if the tour was going to be 499.99 like the curve and pearl, or 399.99 like the pearl flip. i noticed that with sprint its 499.99 but i know that all of the carriers have different prices for their phones. i wanted to know if Uscc was lowering their prices on blackberries like the flip, or if this was going to be high priced like the rest.. any input would be appreciated, thanks.
...
expect atleast 499 for this phone it is a world phone and it is better than the curve so they say ! I have one with verizon and people tell me the call quality sucks and this is my 4th replacement !
...
Well I can now tell you it was a problem with verizon for why my tour sucked! I activated it on us cellular and it is working great!
...
How'd you get someone to activate it on USCC? Just outta curiosity.
...
he should have been able to call customer service and give esn # if he already had account established.
...
and tell them make and model of phone...
...
Yep I work for them LoL The blackberry esn will populate blackberry models so they ask which kind you have just tell them the curve and that is it
...
I wouldn't be so sure that the problem is Verizon. People with Sprint who have the same phone are also having issues. When I returned my Tour and went back to the Curve there were no issues.
...
Yep!!! Returned mine for the same reason!

Out of curiosity, if you are a U.S. Cellular customer why would you ever buy a smartphone without a contract unless you are tied up in a contract? If you think about it, even if a phone is 199.99 with contract (not including rebate) you are better off buying it with a contract. Even if you decided to leave USCC with a cancellation fee of $150 you would STILL come out ahead.
I am not trying to attack, I am just curious.
