Return Phone due to MS software issue?
I went with the HTC Touch Pro back in August. My computer runs XP, so would use MS's ActiveSync. I have done everything over the ensuing months, short of reformatting my hard drive or buying a new computer, to get the software loaded. While the phone's fun to play with, if it can't sync with my computer, it's just a toy. I have an application for my home biz that I want installed on the phone, which was the reason I went with the TP. And I'm on my second one - I had to send the first back in December because the sliding keyboard came loose and the phone didn't seem to like that. What are my chances of taking the TP back to USC and telling them that I want to switch to a Blackberry?

I would recommend you find an associate in your area that is proficient with that handset or is Windows Mobile certified. Get an associate involved in your situation and trying to solve it. Dont settle for you'll just have to buy another phone unless you feel that you have exhausted every option. Are you sure that you can load the software you are needing to use to a Blackberry? If not then there is no point in switching devices. Were you lead to believe that this phone could do what you wanted to do by your sales person or did you do all your research online and didn't really discuss your expectations of the device when you purchased it? I cant stress how important it is to do your own research but also talk with your sales rep during...
