So we got them yesterday and sold a few right away. A little trouble with transfers but my contacts back up seems to work pretty well. Anyone else?

Same here...has anybody's cellbrite worked properly with these? Also, anybody have some insight on why bluetoothing contacts from a late model LG or Samsung doesn't work?
That being said, I've been very impressed with the Samsung so far. The operating system is far smoother than the pre-production models we got to play with in training.
...
I am also impressed with the samsung but am still gonna wait for the HTC. I have been getting hit or miss with the cellebrite machine, hopefully there will be an update to make that process a little less painful. I also tried to bluetooth the contacts from a delve and no luck with that.

if you can get the MCB to work, when the contacts are loaded import them to the memory card and they will be saved. I was able to get the cellbrite to work just fine, just follow the instructions when it gives you the "F1" more directions...

The Acclaim doesn't like the format of any phone book entries, including from other samsungs, so bluetooth doesn't work for that.
Thank God for My Contact Backup!
BTW has anyone caught themselves saying "there's an ap for that." yet? I said it 12 times yesterday. Anything the phone has a hard time with or doesn't do has an app to fix it with.

We have sold about 15 at my location and after a rough start with syncing contacts we now have the issue resolved. Not sure if your cellebrite is updated to include android cdma under smartphone section or not but you can also use the samsung m900 android under samsung cdma phones.
In our initial training I was not very impressed with the device and was deadset on getting the desire but the final production of this phone is amazing. Our customers have been very satisfied.

Im confused. I think you guys are talking about ANDROID devices. Droid is an Android device that is made by Motorola.

Droid refers to the Motorola Droid. Android would be the operating system There is a difference, but it's a common mistake. These folks are confused about the terminology; Which seems weird since some of them work for the company...

When you are doing Cellbrite transfers into the Acclaim, you need to make sure you set up Gmail BEFORE you transfer contacts over. You can also scroll down to the Smartphone selection on the list of manufacturers and select Android CDMA. Although there are other settings for that.
...
You can transfer contacts before setting up Gmail. It is weird if you do it that way though, all the contacts you transfer will hide after you create the Gmail account.
The fix to this is click contacts-->menu (button above home)-->display options-->then click your gmail account-->a bunch of check boxes will appear and you just have to check the "my contacts" box.
Hope that helps guys.

3. You will see a list of synced accounts including t...

I work for Premier Locations in Oklahoma and the way we do it here may be different for a corporate location or another agent but here is how we do it and it seems to work just fine:
Android and the Cellebrite
To transfer all Contacts and ALL media to an Android Acclaim.
1) Choose Samsung SPH-M900 Moment on the cellebrite
2) On Android go to Settings, Applications, Development, check USB Debugging and Stay Awake.
3) Drag taskbar down on phone and choose Turn on USB and then choose Mount.
Click next and enjoy your contacts and media!
Now make sure the display all contacts check box is checked once this is done and it should be all set!
