We are not guaranteed anything... Not another day at work, another pay check, another breath. If we lived our lives so carefully that what we do today will not effect tomorrow then we have no reason to live. If you're a tenured associate (which I am... over 5 years) you have probably made commitments based on pay. We made 50000 a year (at least) the last two years... So why would it be silly of us to think we couldn't afford a mortgage? A BMW? Or hell... Why not both?? The rug was pulled from under us. Not gradually... Just WHAM. Good luck. Oh yeah... Sorry your mortgage might be late. Sort of. Maybe we can cross our fingers and hope your child doesn't get sick and have to go to the ER because that LITTLE spending money you have was meant fo...

Verizon is worst. If you don't sell 50% of your goal. You do not make commission. I do agree it wrong that they change pay. But, Why go to a company that is worst. Stay where you are at. And it may change latter. You may kick yourself latter if you find out it got better at USCC.

Worked for uscc from 2004-2008 then at sprint yeah had to hit 100% of NEW LINE quota at the time to get paid even if you hit 300% on upgrades you would get nothing. now im at T-mobile over a year and not looking back I have great support and reasonable quotas and expectations and I am able to excell like I once did with uscc, its never going to change back to the way it was at uscc. Oh the same date uscc screwed their employees and my FRIENDS t-mobile increased my commission payout 🙂

If you don't hit at least 50% of your commission, there's something wrong (like weeks of snow shutting everything down, or you take too many personal days in a month).

In seven years I personally didn't hit 50% three times, once when I was very sick for two weeks, and two times early on because I was new at the business.
